I went round to my sisters house when I was about seven and her boyfriend at the time offered me one of his games!
They were Gold or Yellow. I didn't know anything about Pokemon but I took Gold anyway and when I went home I dug out my old GameBoy and started playing and then I became addicted Smile

They were playing Red or Blue. I can't remember which one since it was years ago. I got my mum to buy Red.

when i was around 5 my friend was playing the game, and his parents, being really nice, actually offered to give me a gameboy and pkmn game. They'd even bought me them in advance, but my parents wouldn't let me have it, for fear of me getting addicted... A few years later they bought me a Gameboy Advance and I got Crystal version... I ended up becoming addicted anyway.

Ahhh, memories! Feels so nice to actually try and remember them! XD

Well this is how I got to know and started to play Pokemon. My cousin went to Australia (OMG! KENNY! XD) and came back with loads of Pokemon merchandise, shirts, bags, bottles, coloring books, stickers and etc etc. Out of that he gave me 1 Pokemon card. It was a Drowse, I still have it!...And he let me color some pictures from the coloring book. I was like, Oh cool, new cartoon! It's called Pokemon! It's about monsters! I saw all these little monsters with different shapes, and my cousin said they also had different power, like the one monster called "Charizard" could breathe fire, he was a fire type! But I got attracted to the cute looking yellow monster behind the shoulder of a young boy. Whose name was Ash. And the little yellow monster was called a "Pikabu"...Oh wait...it's, "Pikachu"...Yes that monster's name is "Pikachu"!!

Well, that's all I got to know when I was 8...O_o"
No one here knew about Pokemon...Unless he or she went to out of country and watched the tv!

Well, later when I was 12, they finally started showing episodes! I didn't remember anything. I was like, "Oh cool, new cartoon! It's called Pokemon! It's about monsters!" (Notice the similarity? o_O) Then like, I became 13, and started digging my old stuff, and suddenly, a card fell on my head. I turned it, OMG! POKEMON! I REMEMBER NOW! XD

Then I got internet at the age of 14, I started to look for games! And I was introduced to Red! =D

I have been crazy ever since...Wow...That was long XD

I used to go over to my causins when I was younger and they had pokemon silver gold and Yellow and I had none sadly T_T and then I tried to steal my little causins yellow but I got caught :'( But then a month later my mom got me crystal. when I finally got 7 badges I lost it in this ladys car that was droping my dad and I somewhere. Then when pokemon sapphire came out I bought it, I bought ruby, I bought fire red=D now I have pearl so thats the whole story.
